What we collect
When you purchase a subscription we collect the billing details and email address needed to process payment and deliver your license key. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Your license server periodically checks in with our licensing service, which records the license key, an installation identifier, app version, and IP address to validate your subscription.
What we don’t collect
ToneOut is self-hosted. Your audio recordings, transcripts, scanner configuration, and alert content stay on your server — they are never sent to us.
How we use information
We use your information to process payments, deliver and renew your license, provide support, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us operate, such as Stripe (payments) and our email provider (license delivery and receipts), under their respective terms.
